第三方服務與傳送的資料
開始製作逐字稿或摘要前，App 會在同意畫面列出下列接收對象與傳送的資料，取得您的同意後才會傳送：
OpenAI（第三方 AI 服務）：接收逐字稿文字與您的常用詞彙，用於校對錯字、補上標點符號，以及產生您要求的摘要。透過 OpenAI API 傳送的資料不會用來訓練或改進 OpenAI 模型。

Data We Process
AccuScribe processes audio you select or share with the app, transcripts, transcript corrections, summaries, selected summary sections, custom vocabulary, processing status, anonymous account identifiers, credit balances, and Apple in-app purchase transaction data. The app also uses Apple DeviceCheck device state to prevent repeated claims of introductory credits; it does not store raw DeviceCheck tokens. The app does not collect contacts or location information and does not perform advertising tracking.
Why We Process Data
Your audio and related text are used only to provide your transcripts, proofreading, summaries, and exports. Other account and transaction data is used only for sign-in, job processing, credit accounting, preventing duplicate redemption of purchases or new-user offers, and refunds after processing errors. Data is not sold or rented and is not used for marketing, advertising audiences, cross-app or cross-website tracking, or purposes unrelated to the app. Your audio, transcripts, and summaries are not used by the developer or any third-party service to train or improve models.
Private Cloud Processing and Your Consent
Transcription and AI text processing require an internet connection. Before transcription or summary generation, the app asks for your consent to private cloud and AI processing. If you choose a partial transcript because your balance cannot cover the full recording, the app trims a working copy on your device and uploads only the selected beginning portion for processing. You can withdraw consent in Settings. You can still view and export existing content after withdrawing consent, but must consent again before starting another transcription or summary. Withdrawing consent does not delete existing content or undo processing already performed.
Service Providers and Data Shared
Before any transcription or summary, the app's consent screen lists the recipients below and the data each receives. Nothing is sent until you agree.
OpenAI (third-party AI service): receives transcript text and your custom vocabulary to correct typos, add punctuation, and generate summaries you request. Data sent through the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve OpenAI's models.
Modal (cloud computing service): receives audio to run the Whisper speech recognition model and produce a timestamped transcript. Audio is used only for speech recognition and is not used to train or improve any model.
Google Firebase and Google Cloud: store temporary audio, transcripts, summaries, anonymous account and credit records, and provide anonymous sign-in, databases, and job scheduling. Data is used only for the app's features and is not used to train or improve any model.
Apple: handles in-app purchases and uses DeviceCheck to confirm introductory-credit eligibility.
These providers may process data only to provide the app's features and, under their terms, must protect it at a level equal to or greater than this policy.
Local Storage and Exports
Anonymous sign-in credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. App settings, summary-section preferences, history, transcript corrections, and recordings used for playback may be stored on your device. Transcript and summary exports are created on your device. When you export or share content, the destination app or service you choose handles that copy. Deleting content in AccuScribe does not delete copies you have exported elsewhere.
Retention and Deletion
Uploaded audio is normally removed from private cloud storage after transcription completes. This cleanup is best effort; failed or interrupted uploads may remain until cleanup, individual record deletion, or account deletion. Transcripts, summaries, and local playback recordings remain until you delete the corresponding record or account.
Delete a Record or Your Account
Long-press a record in transcript history to delete its transcript, summary, and associated recording, including the server copy. To delete the anonymous account and associated content, open Settings and choose “刪除帳號與所有資料” (Delete Account and All Data). Wait for active transcription or summary jobs to finish before deletion. Account deletion also removes remaining credits and local recordings and cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app alone does not request deletion of server data; Keychain credentials may also survive reinstallation.
Credits and Purchase Records
Credits are consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. AccuScribe does not receive your payment card information. The service stores balances and transaction records to redeem purchases, handle refunds, and prevent duplicate redemption. After account deletion, de-identified transaction identifiers, product and amount records, and necessary accounting or anti-fraud information remain. Apple manages your App Store purchase history and refund requests.
Security
The app uses encrypted network connections and the system Keychain for sign-in credentials. Access to account content is restricted through authentication and service access controls. No network service can guarantee absolute security.
Website and Support Requests
These static pages do not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process request information such as IP address, browser details, and request time to operate and secure the website. If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send to help resolve your request. Please avoid sending confidential recordings or transcripts unless necessary.
